Anshul Mathur is a senior business leader based in India, helping businesses earn trust, thrive through disruption and build reputation. He has spent over three decades navigating the intersection of public affairs, reputational risk management and business.

In his most recent role as SVP for BP in Asia Pacific, he was responsible for India, China, Australia, Japan, Korea and the ASEAN countries. He led the government affairs, communications and ESG functions; engaging with policy makers, media, think-tanks and NGOs to grow and protect BP’s multi-billion-dollar investments in the region. Prior to this, he held pivotal positions across business development, strategy, ethics and compliance, and human resources in India and the UK.

Anshul was a key member of BP’s global leadership team, served on the Boards of the BP Foundation Inc. and BP India for over a decade and was on the Prime Minister of India’s scholarship panel to the Cambridge University.
