Marlow is pleased to announce the appointment of Ludivine Wouters, and Paul Kolbe to Marlow’s Advisory Board. Ludivine and Paul will advance the firm’s growth as key strategic advisors to Managing Director Simon Wolfe and his team, ensuring its client delivery and strategy align with the firm’s purpose.
Ludivine Wouters is a governance and policy consultant with expertise in strategy, transaction management, regulatory, government relations and permitting. Since 2007, Ludivine has assisted countless natural resources companies and investors in emerging markets and worked on technical assistance programmes for African States. She is co-founder and managing partner of Latitude Five, an investment and advisory firm focusing on real estate, infrastructure, mining and private equity in Africa. Ludivine has previous experience in political risk insurance within a Lloyd’s insurance syndicate, and significant legal experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets with leading international firms in Paris; she also worked for an emerging markets investment bank in London, focusing on metals and mining clients, particularly African juniors. Ludivine is committed to change and market leadership, participating in natural resources policy initiatives and regulatory reform across a variety of African markets and as a director of women in mining organisations. She was nominated by her peers to be one of 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining.
Paul Kolbe is the Director of the Intelligence Project at the Harvard Kennedy School Belfer Center for Science and International Relations. Paul served 25 years in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations in variety of foreign and domestic roles including as Chief of Station, Chief/Central Eurasia Division and Balkans Group Chief. His overseas assignments included operational and leadership roles in the former Soviet Union, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and Central Europe. He was a member of the Senior Intelligence Service and is a recipient of the Intelligence Medal of Merit and the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal. Following his CIA career, Paul was Director for Intelligence and Analysis at BP where he built a enterprise-wide intelligence capability focused on geo-political threat, strategic cyber threats and support to commercial operations. Clients included C-suite leadership, global business units, security networks and legal teams.
Ludivine and Paul will advise and assist Simon to deliver on our client engagements in line with the firm’s guiding principle to provide dynamic solutions to complex problems.
